On the Saturday of Marlow Regatta, we aim to perpetuate the traditional Marlow Regatta atmosphere, by establishing a tented Enclosure where Subscribers to the Regatta can relax and enjoy a superb view of the racing.
Most of those reading this will be aware that just 6 weeks after our Regatta, the Olympic Regatta will be in full swing on the same course. This means that, due to constructional work, our Enclosure will have to be much closer to the Start than the Finish. However, since everybody walks to the Start at Henley Royal Regatta, this may be no bad thing. In addition, those in the Enclosure will have an unsurpassed view of the continual activity in the start area as crews get attached, and straight before the Umpire starts each race.
The minimum Subscription has been held at £25, for which you will receive one Subscriber’s Badge and one Guest Badge. Additional Guest Badges are available at £12.50 each. There is no upper limit to the number of Guests. These allow exclusive access to the Subscriber’s Enclosure, which is reserved for our supporters (Subscribers, Sponsors) and their Guests. Pre booked luncheons and teas are available (please see application form for details). We require Subscribers and their Guests to follow a reasonable dress code, whilst in the Enclosure; men wearing lounge suits or blazers and flannels, with ties or cravats. Jeans and shorts are not permitted. Ladies should not be too casually dressed; we have no hemline rule, and accept trouser suits!
Reserved, course–side, car park spaces are available at £30 per 3m bay. These have proved very popular, being adjacent to the course, again with excellent views of the start, and are ideal for picnic parties. Unreserved spaces in the general Car Park will be available on the day at £15.
On the Sunday, the Enclosure area is open to all, and there is no provision for reserved car park spaces. Admission to the Regatta is by paying for unreserved parking at £15 regardless of the number of passengers.
