The story of Marlow Regatta

Marlow Regatta 1919Marlow Regatta is one of the multi-lane regattas in the British Rowing calendar, attracting a large entry from schools, clubs and universities from around the UK along with overseas crews who are preparing for Henley Royal Regatta.

It is an independent regatta that is organised by a committee of volunteers on behalf of the regatta Subscribers.

We have been requested to add an additional event to the TVTH race programme and are pleased to announce that J18 2- for both boys and girls has now been added. An updated event poster has been added to the TVTH page.

Full details of the events offered and how to enter are now available on the TVTH page.

Entries will be taken through BROE from Monday 4th January. Coastal club entries should be posted, allowing plenty of time to reach us. In previous years we have had to close entries early when we have reached capacity.

As race day rapidly approaches we have now held our pre-event meeting with Dorney Lake to confirm which areas of the site we will have access to. The resulting site report is now available and details where boats can be racked/tressled and where we will be able to park cars.

The start order and race schedule for the 2015 Marlow Regatta have now been published and are available from the downloads section of the Regatta page. This information is also available from the Regatta Master reports website, where you can find out more information about crews.

The gaps in the race schedule are to allow us to clear one time trial wave off the water before we can start boating the next.
