Marlow Regatta is one of the multi-lane regattas in the British Rowing calendar, attracting a large entry from schools, clubs and universities from around the UK along with overseas crews who are preparing for Henley Royal Regatta.
It is an independent regatta that is organised by a committee of volunteers on behalf of the regatta Subscribers.
The 165th Marlow Regatta will take place on Saturday 20th June 2020 at Dorney Lake, Eton.
Full details of the events being offered at the 2013 Marlow Regatta have now been published.

After a very wet and cold winter, when very little post Olympic repair work could be carried out at Dorney Lake, we are pleased to hear that work on laying turf and seeding the distressed areas is about to start. We will be receiving regular updates on progress, which will, of course, depend greatly on the weather.
Racing Information
Due to the extensive remedial groundwork required following the Olympic Regatta, and the unhelpful winter weather, none of the scheduled rowing events at Dorney Lake can predict their exact operation plans, until we have seen just how well the various grassed areas have become established. There is no problem with the water, but there are possible problems housing a large number of competitors, boats and trailers and managing a safe embarkation and disembarkation system. This information will be updated as we get closer to the date of the Regatta.
At a recent meeting of the Marlow Regatta committee it was regretfully decided that the 2013 Thames Valley Trial Head, scheduled in the calendar for 3rd February, would be postponed. This decision was reached following site inspections at Dorney Lake, and meetings with Dorney Lake staff, where reconstruction works following the 2012 Olympics are underway. The reconstruction work is expected to continue well into 2013 and currently none of the normally grass areas in the vicinity of the boat house, or in the final 500m+ of the course, are (or will be) available.
The decision was not taken lightly and various options were looked into, but it was felt that we could not safely run the event, specifically the parking of competitors cars, trailers & boats, with the expected areas of the Dorney Lake site that would be available.
The Regatta Committee hope to reschedule the 2013 Thames Valley Trial Head to a date in November and are currently investigating options with Dorney Lake and the British Rowing events coordinator to see if this is possible. An update on this will be published later in the year.
The Chairman of the Management Committee's letter about decisions at the 2012 regatta is now available from the 2012 Regatta page. Once again we apologise for failing to run the regatta to it's usual high standard.

Hon Secretary
The University of Worcester Rowing Club have discovered that they have mislaid a set of four Concept 2 Sweep blades. They had green blade handles and the spoons are plain white. If you have accidentally taken four blades home by mistake please let the Hon Secretary know so they can be returned to their owners. Thanks
