The story of Marlow Regatta

Marlow Regatta 1919Marlow Regatta is one of the multi-lane regattas in the British Rowing calendar, attracting a large entry from schools, clubs and universities from around the UK along with overseas crews who are preparing for Henley Royal Regatta.

It is an independent regatta that is organised by a committee of volunteers on behalf of the regatta Subscribers.

The 164th Marlow Regatta will take place on Saturday 22nd June 2019 at Dorney Lake, Eton.

Following approval on the 29th March at the 2017 AGM we can now reveal the new event line up for 2017. Top crews will now be racing in Championship events for the main trophies and the traditional quart tankards. There will also be an additional event for school 2nd & 3rd eights.

The 2017 Thames Valley Trial Head, due to take place on Sunday 29th January, has had to be cancelled due to conditions at Dorney Lake.

A total of 515 crews have been entered for the 2017 Thames Valley Trial Head. Local schools are present in large numbers and we also welcome crews from further afield, including several coastal rowing clubs. The full start order and boating times are now available from the TVTH page.
