Regattas in Marlow

Marlow will stage three rowing Regattas in 2015:-

  • Marlow Spring Regatta on Bank Holiday Monday – May 4th.
  • Marlow Town Regatta on Saturday June 13th.
  • Marlow Regatta at Dorney Lake on Saturday June 20th.

The Spring and Town Regattas are held on the river, and principally attract the very young (up to age 16) and the older  (termed Masters) competitors, since the course is less than 1,000m in length.

Marlow Regatta at Dorney Lake is rowed on the 2,000m multi-lane course, now famous as the Olympic venue, where Team GB did so well in 2012. The Regatta attracts most of the top crews in the country, plus some from abroad, in the age range 16 to 30, who are aiming at racing at Henley Royal Regatta.

Marlow is proud that it caters for all categories of the sport, from those just starting out, to those who are aiming at international recognition.
