Subscribing
You are subscribing for Marlow Regatta, to be held at Dorney Lake.  The last date to become a Subscriber, order Guest Badges, Lunches, Teas and Reserved Car Park spaces is Friday 8th June 2012.
 
Subscribers’ Enclosure
Admission to the Subscribers' Enclosure will be limited to Subscribers, Sponsors and their Guests provided the dress codes are met. Gentlemen are required to wear lounge suits, or blazers and flannels, and ladies are asked not to dress too casually. Jeans and shorts are not permitted.
 
Shipping
All subscription orders will be mailed during the first two weeks of June. Please allow up to 5 working days for delivery of your order. (Subscribers’ and Guest badges, reserved car park passes, lunch tickets, tea tickets and marquee passes.)
 
Payment
Payments are accepted by cheque (payable to Marlow Regatta, to the address below) or by card using RBS Worldpay (an external card processing service). If ordering on-line, you may choose which payment method you use at the checkout stage once you have placed your order. We do not store your card details - RBS Worldpay processes the payment through their encrypted site. Payment must be received by the close of Subscriptions (see above).
 
Your details
Marlow Regatta will keep your details private, and will not issue them on to any third party organisation. Marlow Regatta accepts no responsibility for loss or damage due to the use of this website.

Reserved Parking
Please note that only the stated number of cars, displaying a reserved pass, will be allowed in the reserved parking area. All other cars will have to use the general car park - £15 per car payable on entry.
 
Lunches & Teas
Lunches and Teas will be served in the Subscribers’ Enclosure.
 
Refunds
Subscriptions can be cancelled up until the 8th June and a full refund will be given.

Entries

  1. Entries should be made on the British Rowing website.
  2. Crews wishing to double up must indicate this on their BROE entry, clearly identifying their priority event. Should the total Regatta entry prove unmanageable, then the second priority event of a doubled up crew will be rejected.
  3. Payment may be made either via the British Rowing entry system or by cheque made payable to Marlow Regatta.
  4. Entries close at 8.00pm on Wednesday, 6th June and late entries will not be accepted.
  5. Cheque payments should be sent to Entries Secretary, Marlow Regatta, c/o Hill Rise Cottage, Main Street, Hethe, BICESTER OX27 8HD
  6. All entry fees must have been received by the close of entries for an entry to be accepted.
  7. The fees for entries withdrawn after the close of entries will not be refunded. Entries withdrawn before the close of entries will be refunded in full.
  8. The list of accepted entries will be published on Friday 10th June
  9. Crews have until 20:00 on Sunday 12th June to notify the Hon.Sec. of any change in crew status due to racing on either the 11th or 12th June.
  10. The draw will take place at the Hon.Sec.'s house on Sunday 12th June.
  11. The draw will be published on Monday 13th June
  12. The committee reserves the right to retain any entry fees in the event that the regatta has to be cancelled, for whatever reason.
  13. The Committee reserves the right to refuse any entry without giving a reason and to make alterations to the Programme and Conditions for Events etc.

Saturday racing

  1. Racing will take place using 7 lanes over 2000m
  2. In all events with 9 or more entries there will be 3 stages - heats, repechage and the final.
  3. Events that have more than 21 entries will be split into 2 or more divisions.
  4. For events with 15 or more entries the first two crews from each heat will progress directly to the final and the 3rd and 4th crews will progress to the repechage.
  5. For events with 14 or less entries the first three crews in each heat will progress directly to the final, with the remainder progressing to the repechage (except where there are 14 entries where the 4th, 5th & 6th place crews will progress to the repechage)..
  6. There are no doubling up restrictions, but competitors intending to race in two events should note the published Order of Finals (see summary of entries); this order will be used for all stages of the Regatta.
  7. Races will take place at 5 minute intervals, and there will be no changes to the timetable to accommodate competitors who are racing in more than one event.
  8. Quart pewter tankards are awarded to winners of all Elite events.
  9. Pint pewter tankards are awarded to all other winners.

Sunday Racing

  1. Racing will take place using 6 lanes over 1000m
  2. All races will be finals with medals awarded to the winners
  3. Events that have more than 6 entries will be split into 2 or more divisions.
  4. Where a Masters event has more than 6 entries the crews will be drawn into races based upon their average age. The youngest 6 boats will be drawn into race 1, the next 6 youngest into race 2 and so on.
  5. There are no doubling up restrictions, but competitors intending to race in two events should note the published Order of Finals (see summary of entries); this order will be used for all stages of the Regatta.
  6. Races will take place at 5 minute intervals, and there will be no changes to the timetable to accommodate competitors who are racing in more than one event.

Competitors and Boats

  1. Competitors must provide their own boats and oars for all events.
  2. All boats must carry Empacher type slots in the bows to carry lane numbers.
  3. Crews wishing to train on the course prior to Saturday, must make their own arrangements with Dorney Lake Services.
  4. All boats must be removed immediately after racing on Sunday 19th June.
  5. The Committee accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to equipment whilst at the Regatta.
  6. Competitor parking passes will be issued to all crews, three for an eight, two for fours and one for smaller boats.
  7. Cars displaying Competitor parking passes will directed to the Competitor's Car Park.
  8. Cars without passes will be charged £15.00 on entry.
  9. ALL COMPETITORS MUST BRING THEIR ARA RACING LICENCE CARD TO THE REGATTA FOR CHECKING.
